Advocacy for Mental Health and Human Rights (AMHHR) is a grassroots advocacy organization based in Bo District, Sierra Leone. This policy covers the website at amhhr.org and applies to anyone who visits it or submits information through it.

We only collect information that you choose to provide to us directly, through:
Volunteer application: Name, contact details, age range, experience, areas of interest, availability, skills, and an optional reference.
General contact form: Name, email, phone, reason for contact, and your message.
Direct communication: Any email or direct message you send us.
We do not currently use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising technologies on this website. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, process a volunteer application, coordinate a partnership, or otherwise follow up on the reason you contacted us. We do not use your information for any purpose beyond what you submitted it for.

AMHHR does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Information you submit is only shared internally with AMHHR staff and volunteers directly involved in reviewing applications or responding to inquiries, and only when necessary to do so.

We keep the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you or, in the case of volunteer applications, for as long as you remain an active or prospective volunteer. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by contacting us.

How we handle information relating to sensitive topics.
Some fields on our volunteer application ask about comfort discussing sensitive topics such as mental health, HIV, and sexuality, as part of assessing fit for certain volunteer roles. Any such information you choose to share is treated as confidential and is used only for that purpose.
